I'm alive! Singapore Trip (10 months over due)

OK, I've totally neglected my blog! Whats my excuse this time? well, I won't bother making one.
Anyway, as mentioned in the previous post (hey picking up from where I left off 10 months ago is easier than expected), Kevin and I went to Singapore, to attend friends wedding and to visit Kevin's cousins. This is our second time there, our first trip to Singapore was in 2004.

I won't go into too much details of the trip, I'm actually at work now. Suppose to be doing my half yearly performance review and write about how good I've been. Why do it today when you can put it off till tomorrow. Shhh :)
Singapore by night...

Singapore by day... this is the actual view of Kevin's cousin's place

We did all the tourist stuff. Sentosa, Night Safari, Singapore Zoo, lots of eating and shopping and more eating, and some more shopping.

Kevin's cousin Betty and I have the exact same birthday, same year as well!! I found my twin! except that shes much more friendly and more outgoing than I am.

Our friend's wedding

I love what the hair dresser did with my hair! I look feminine and mature. Ha.

The MC, also the groom's sister in law, had a vintage Chanel.

That marks the end of our trip.

Hunter Valley Garden - Part 2

Indian Mosaic Garden
Oriental Garden

This guy was standing by himself holding a bunch of flowers looking really nervous. I didn't realise what he was about to do until a camera guy runs towards him, and then his girlfriend appeared, she was blind folded and was led by a friend of theirs. That's when I realised he was about to propose to her! His voice was shaking as he did his proposal speech. When she said "yes" and everyone clapped and cheered for them. It was so so so sweet....awww.

Congrats and best wishes to the newly engaged couple. May they have a fairytale life together and live happily ever after.

Hunter Valley Garden - Part 1

Last Sunday, the boyfriend took me to Hunter Valley Garden. The beautiful garden spreads over 60 acres, featuring ten different themed gardens. It was lovely walking through each garden, the experience were extremely calming. It's a good place to visit if you want escape the pressure of day to day living. The visit really enhanced my appreciation of nature's beauty.

The boyfriend got himself a new camera while we were in Singapore for a friend's wedding at the end of September. I've been meaning to do a post on the trip, but I've too busy (alright, lazy). So, hopefully I'll get around to it soon.

Anyway I was happily snapping away with the hand me down camera. Many pictures to share in this post.

South Paradise - Nan Tien Temple

Spent Sunday at Nan Tien Temple, also known as "South Paradise". I love going there as it's usually a nice drive up south from Sydney, the temple is relaxing and has goregous scenery no matter what season. The temple offers pure vegetarain food. Being a vegetarain, I can be greedy and order anything I like from the menu without asking the waiter if there are any meat or seafood. So, I make sure I leave with my gut hanging out.
Being in a playful state...

Embracing spring

Spring weather is here. Even though technically its still winter. Yippee!

I have been getting up at 6am every weekend to go to taichi class. Now that the weather is getting warmer, its much easier to get out of bed. I've started learning taichi since April this year. It's relaxing and I always feel so refreshed afterwards.
Just bumming around today. These outfit pictures are from earlier this year.

Tweet Tweet

Been totally neglecting this blog for a month. Haven't had much time for blogging. I've been so busy with work, and it's mid year appraisal time now, writing feedback for others and performance review for myself on weekend. Not fun.

Also joint Twitter recently. Hit me up here.
