Hunter Valley Garden - Part 2

Indian Mosaic Garden
Oriental Garden

This guy was standing by himself holding a bunch of flowers looking really nervous. I didn't realise what he was about to do until a camera guy runs towards him, and then his girlfriend appeared, she was blind folded and was led by a friend of theirs. That's when I realised he was about to propose to her! His voice was shaking as he did his proposal speech. When she said "yes" and everyone clapped and cheered for them. It was so so so sweet....awww.

Congrats and best wishes to the newly engaged couple. May they have a fairytale life together and live happily ever after.

Hunter Valley Garden - Part 1

Last Sunday, the boyfriend took me to Hunter Valley Garden. The beautiful garden spreads over 60 acres, featuring ten different themed gardens. It was lovely walking through each garden, the experience were extremely calming. It's a good place to visit if you want escape the pressure of day to day living. The visit really enhanced my appreciation of nature's beauty.

The boyfriend got himself a new camera while we were in Singapore for a friend's wedding at the end of September. I've been meaning to do a post on the trip, but I've too busy (alright, lazy). So, hopefully I'll get around to it soon.

Anyway I was happily snapping away with the hand me down camera. Many pictures to share in this post.

South Paradise - Nan Tien Temple

Spent Sunday at Nan Tien Temple, also known as "South Paradise". I love going there as it's usually a nice drive up south from Sydney, the temple is relaxing and has goregous scenery no matter what season. The temple offers pure vegetarain food. Being a vegetarain, I can be greedy and order anything I like from the menu without asking the waiter if there are any meat or seafood. So, I make sure I leave with my gut hanging out.
